Managing personal finances is harder than it should be. We know because we lived it.
Even with backgrounds in finance and technology, we were not taking advantage of the opportunities in front of us.
Idle cash sat in checking. We didn't make tax-smart moves because we didn't have the time, and the information was hard to pull together. We nearly missed bills because balances and due dates lived across several accounts. We knew the strategies. We did not have time to run them.
Services like these have often been available to clients with larger balances. Fee structures can be hard to compare.
That is why we built Advizmo.
We wanted something that would run the calculations for us. Something that would move money without us having to think about it, covering tax-smart selling, rebalancing, and cash management daily. Less time spent on money.
We believe that should be open to everyone, not only to people who work with a wealth manager or an adviser.

Even with backgrounds in finance and technology, we still found ourselves not taking advantage of all the opportunities we should.
Idle cash sitting in checking accounts earning nothing. Tax-saving opportunities we didn't act on because we didn't have time, and the brokerages made it difficult to get the right information and take action. Bills we almost missed because our balances and due dates were scattered across multiple accounts. Strategies we knew existed but never had the time to execute.
And the institutions that were supposed to help? They rarely tell you about these opportunities. Those services are often reserved for wealthier clients. Fees are buried, and incentives are frequently misaligned. We were frustrated.
That frustration is what built Advizmo.
We wanted something that would do all the calculations for us. That would move our money intelligently without us having to think about it. That would handle the tax optimization, the rebalancing, the cash management. Automatically, every single day. So we could spend less time worrying about money and more time doing the things we actually love, with the people we love.

Murray built Advizmo because personal finance should be simpler. Managing cash, investing smartly, and preparing for retirement shouldn't require a finance degree.
Advizmo combines cash flow management with tax-optimized investing in one platform. It analyzes your accounts to determine whether you have excess cash or need more in checking, then automatically moves funds into higher-earning accounts and investments.
Drawing on his experience at JP Morgan and Accenture, his Columbia MBA, and his Series 65 license, Murray combines financial expertise with technical skill to make automated tax-optimized investing more accessible.

She brings experience from Expedia and startups building trustworthy systems for millions of users, and now she's applying those same principles to help people take control of their finances.

So he built Advizmo, an SEC-registered investment adviser that brings all of your personal finance together in one place, from cash flow monitoring to tax-optimized investing, helping people optimize their finances without expensive advisers. With experience at JP Morgan and Accenture, he combines financial expertise with technical skills to build the platform himself.
